Safe Care

Safe Care

Your safety and the safety of our staff is of the highest importance here at Harley Street Ultrasound

It is no longer mandatory for patients to wear masks when visiting our clinic. However, we do still encourage patients to wear masks if they feel more comfortable doing so.

  • Acceptable masks include homemade, surgical, dust, or N95 masks.
  • Carefully monitored entrance points
  • Screening of all patients for possible symptoms and COVID-19 exposure
  • Waiting areas arranged for social distancing
  • Enhanced cleaning of exam rooms and equipment after each patient
  • Frequent deep cleaning of other clinic spaces

We’ve added new precautions to minimize risk of COVID-19 transmission.  So, you can focus on getting the answers you seek, knowing that we’re committed to keeping you safe.

We follow carefully designed, rigorously enforced safety precautions for anyone who requires face-to-face care.

We understand that the past three years has been a difficult time for everyone, and we want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to make our clinic a safe and comfortable environment for all.

We welcome both new and existing patients for in-person care, in adherence with Government Guidelines.

Travelling to

Our Clinic

When travelling to our clinic in Harley Street try your best to limit your exposure to human contact for instance when making rest or food stops.

  • Avoid contact with sick people.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Bring any medicines you may need for the duration of your trip.
  • When you must stop, minimize close contact between you and your companions and others.
  • Pack alcohol-based hand sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol) in an easily accessible spot.
  • Pack disinfectant wipes (at least 70% alcohol) for surfaces.

COVID-19 Vaccine Our Latest Guidance

At Harley Street Ultrasound we agree that you should get a COVID-19 vaccine as soon as it’s available to you.

  • View here the vaccines that have been approved for safe use.
  • Vaccine distribution will occur in phases, with those at highest risk in the earliest phases. We know the earliest group will include frontline workers and caregivers.
  • Practice social distancing, wear a mask properly outside your home, wash your hands frequently, and follow your state and local recommendations until the spread has stopped.

The vaccine may not be recommended to those with certain health conditions. Talk to your health care provider if you have questions about receiving the vaccine.

About COVID-19 & Flu

It’s especially important to get your flu vaccine this year, because the flu and coronavirus disease 2022 (COVID-19) will likely be circulating at the same time and cause similar symptoms.

The flu vaccine doesn’t protect you from COVID-19. But getting a flu vaccine could reduce flu symptoms that could be confused with COVID-19 symptoms.

Getting your flu vaccine can also help lessen the impact on health care providers and hospitals by reducing the number of people with severe flu and hospitalized with the flu.
