Radiologist

Dr John Fitzpatrick is a Consultant Radiologist specialising in musculoskeletal and trauma imaging.
He works with patients who need expert diagnostic imaging and image-guided procedures, including injections and biopsies, across a broad range of conditions affecting bones, joints and soft tissues.
Based at St George's Hospital, one of London's four Major Trauma Centres, Dr Fitzpatrick serves as clinical lead for ultrasound. His expertise spans a wide range of imaging modalities including ultrasound, X-ray, CT and MRI, giving him a comprehensive view of each patient's clinical picture.
Dr Fitzpatrick studied medicine at the University of Cambridge before completing general medical training in London and specialist radiology training across Edinburgh and London.
He went on to undertake a fellowship at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham, a nationally recognised centre for orthopaedic and sarcoma care.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and a member of the British Society of Skeletal Radiologists. Dr Fitzpatrick is also an enthusiastic teacher and supervisor for radiology resident doctors, and has taught at the Edinburgh FRCR 2B course.
