For the safety of our other patients and staff, please only proceed if:

• You do not have a fever

• You do not have a new, continuous cough

• You do not have shortness of breath

• You do not have loss of sense of smell (anosmia)

• You have not been in contact with someone suspected or known to have coronavirus

• You have recently visited a destination requiring quarantine as per Government guidelines (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-travel-corridors#stay-up-to-date)

If you do have any of the above, please self-isolate for 14 days.

Important Information and General Terms and Conditions

All of the ultrasound scan services that we offer are optional, following which you will be provided with a report of the findings and recommendations including no further action required, further medical follow up and or further investigation advised*.

At the time of booking a scan via our website or by contacting us, you must be at least 16 years old.

At the time of booking or prior to your appointment during registration, we will as for your GP or responsible healthcare professional’s contact details as well as your consent to contact them should we need to regarding your ultrasound results or for further clinical information.

Ultrasound safety continues to be studied and reviewed by various professional bodies but has not been shown to cause harm.

By purchasing a scan, you accept the limitations of ultrasound imaging (as described on our website) and that ultrasound imaging cannot detect all pathologies or cause of symptoms, and other modalities of imaging may be more appropriate. If there is any doubt about having any type of ultrasound scan, you should consult your GP, Midwife or referring Clinician. We do however, endeavour to fully inform you prior to undertaking an ultrasound examination via the information provided to you on our website and by our practitioners.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

If you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment we require a minimum of 12 hours notice otherwise your deposit is non-refundable. If your appointment is booked within 48 hours (same-day or next day) then the deposit is non refundable and thus any cancellations or appointment amendments will result in loss of the deposit paid.

Late Attendance

If you are late for your appointment, we will not be able to rebook you and your appointment will still end at its allocated time. Please arrive on time or let us know as soon as possible if you are not able to do so.

Guests

A maximum of two guests are allowed at your appointment.

Pregnancy Ultrasound Scans Specific Terms and Conditions

All of our pregnancy scans do not replace or substitute any scan you have or will have with the NHS / regular health provider and aims to compliment the primary care  you receive such as with the NHS. We advise that you bring your pregnancy book with previous scan results to your appointment, failure to do so may result in us not being able to  perform any scans and you risk forfeit of any deposit or monies paid. All pregnancy scans come with two complimentary black/white thermal printed pictures (where available and appropriate). These pictures have no cash redemption value and cannot be refunded, transferred or exchange for credit.

3D Images

The quality of the images/video are dependent on factors such as foetal position, gestational age, mothers BMI, scar tissue and amniotic fluid, which are constantly changing from day to day and are beyond the control of Harley Street Ultrasound Group and its practitioners. We will always endeavor to obtain the best results on the day however if adequate image(s)/video(s) of your baby cannot be obtained due to such circumstances on the day you may choose to book another appointment for an additional charge of £50. All charges will be non-refundable irrespective of scan/re-scan results. Harley Street Ultrasound Group or its practitioners cannot be held responsible for the images/videos in any way whatsoever.

Twin/Multiple Pregnancies

This offer does not apply for twin or multiple pregnancies as the time allocated is not sufficient for this purpose. To make an appointment for twin or multiple pregnancy please contact us for further arrangements.

3D Pregnancy Scans

Scan refers to “real time” moving 3D images.
