Radiologist

Dr Hebah Taufik is a Consultant Radiologist specialising in breast imaging and general radiology. She works with patients who need expert diagnostic assessment across a wide range of breast conditions, combining multimodality imaging with a thorough and patient-centred approach to care.
Dr Taufik is fully trained in all aspects of breast imaging, including mammography with tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and a wide range of image-guided breast and axillary interventions. She works within a busy breast unit delivering both screening and symptomatic services, alongside a broad general radiology practice that includes acute, oncological, CT, MRI and ultrasound imaging.
She completed her radiology training in London and was awarded her Certificate of Completion of Training in 2021. Her subspecialty training includes dedicated breast imaging, as well as fellowship experience in oncological imaging and gynaecological pelvic MRI. Dr Taufik qualified in medicine from St George's, University of London, where she also completed an intercalated BSc (Hons) in Clinical Sciences and was awarded the Anne Selina Fernee Scholarship in recognition of academic excellence.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Taufik has a strong commitment to medical education. She is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer and Radiology Specialty Lead at Brunel Medical School and has previously served as a College Tutor for the Royal College of Radiologists. She regularly teaches undergraduate and postgraduate trainees and is actively involved in curriculum development, mentoring and examiner roles. She speaks English and Arabic.
